Eating My Books One Dish at a Time
Welcome to Eat My Books. When I read a book – fiction or not – I find myself looking at maps, researching countries and their histories, and seeking other books or movies on the subject.
Lately, I’ve been noticing food. Characters’ favorites. Something frequently eaten during the story. A country’s national dish. I finally decided to start eating what I read. Each post will mention the book I get the idea from and the connection to the dish I prepare. I hope you join me.
Eating and reading are two pleasures that combine admirably.
– C.S. Lewis
Since I’ve started, I’ve seen a few other sites that do the same as I do. Hopefully most of my books, meals and take on life will differ from theirs!
